I read a post saying doughwallet is on its way out due to server costs etc
If anyone can put me in contact with the developers of this app that would be nice because I would like to see if I can take on this project

Dough is crap and it should just go away quietly. You don't really need a client anyway, and if you're going to use one, it must at the very minimum give up your keys when you ask for them.

As a note, many have offered to take it over and given the amount of work it needs to be brought up to date, the choice was made to just let it end.
We even offered to pick it up.
