For 'walking around' money, all you need is a single, appropriately-funded wallet, and a way to spend coins.
You can stash the wallet in Notes easily enough. Like this example:

You can't run coinb.in locally on iOS, but since you have to be online to broadcast anyway, you can certainly run it off the website.
Zero overheads, no stupid bastardised BIP39 recovery phrases, no BS of any sort.
Oh, and the keys live in your masterfile all the time anyway, so even if you lose your phone, you still have the wallet.
