Recovering Dogecoin from Dough Wallet

First of all I'd like to say I know this question has been posted a lot and people have already given their "answers"

I've read them and I'm still here...guess I'm stupid

Anyways, I have my recovery phase. From what I've read I need to use the recovery tool but edit it somehow ? otherwise it just generates 1000s of private keys. I've never coded so an explanation/ step by step guide would be extremely helpful

I had to use coinb,in to send Dogecoin which I had in Dough Wallet address and I made a transfer into Gemini Exchange, but they arrived to some other address that is not associated with Gemini. Please let me know how I could get the coins back. Thank you!

as me to since their launch 2015 ,, i get it on IOS apps after 2year the apps is gone ,, i've been trying find back apps no where to get?? n on tweeter no reply from doughwallet ,, guess in the same path on the developer hands in believing ,, if there have a way ,, i like that to recovery ,,but i dont have the private key/2FA ,, only got seed phase n password is that ok

Same problem here. I have my recovery phrase and entered into the dough wallet recovery tool. But it generates 100s of thousands of address. Do I need to build a bot to copy paste each one from recovery tool to doge explorer in order to find which address has my doge holdings? Fcking wild. Any help would be appreciated.

I have my and my recovery phrase and my address, how do i recover the coins from my old account? it’s saying i need 2FA?

You don't have to edit or code anything. Just put your recovery seed in the doughwallet recovery tool, and find the addresses that have dogecoin. You then use those private keys to spend the coins.
